Kirstyn smiling, standing in front of a brick wall

Hi, I'm Kirstyn

Kirstyn is a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who helps women to prepare for labour/delivery and recover after childbirth.

Before starting as a Pelvic Health Therapist, Kirstyn worked in Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Vestibular and Chronic Pain after receiving her Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta.

Kirstyn now focuses on helping women thrive during their pregnancy, prepping them for labour/delivery and aiding in their rehabilitation postpartum. Pelvic Health Therapists treat urinary/fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti (abdominal separation), constipation, sexual dysfunction and lumbopelvic pain. Treatment is customized for each patient and typically integrates pelvic floor/core/glute muscle re-training, helpful advice on bowel and bladder habits, nutrition and hands-on techniques from the therapist.

Physiotherapy is internationally recognized as the first choice of treatment for incontinence and prolapse. Kirstyn uses evidence based therapy techniques and a team based approach to recovery.
